	The Lake Okeechobee Culverts Replacement was part of the Herbert Hoover Dike (HHD) project for the USACE. The HHD consists of approximately 143 miles of earthen embankment along the perimeter of Lake Okeechobee. Lake Okeechobee is a large freshwater lake located in South Central Florida. The HHD system also includes numerous water control structures (e.g., culverts, spillways, locks, toe ditches, and pump stations) along its length in addition to the earthen embankments.
